Best Kept Secret Award

30 September 2007, 12:57 pm. View comments. Filed under Internet, Web-related.

So I got this award from Chien Yee (Thanks!) and it's time to pass it on:

Best Kept Secret Award

This is hard. But here's to those whom I don't think has received this award yet and is a "secret". (Do you know how hard this is? Obviously if I've discovered the blog it's not an undiscovered blog.) So in no particular order:

  1. Leila and Seth of Valamity
  2. Hev of Amarantine
  3. Hydora of Contemplative
  4. Imdolien of Eternity
  5. Zala of Beautiful Tears

Well they're not exactly secrets. My blog isn't a secret. But I don't know any secret blogs. So the ones I like but I didn't award are the ones I think are too well-known to be deemed as "secret". The award originated from Bobbarama.Com. Check it out for instructions on awarding.

On another happy note, I just discovered my production capacity without the Internet. Due to our stupid Internet bandwidth restrictions, I have this 800mb weekly limit on my computer. That means, no mass Facebook-ing, Bebo-ing, deviantART-ing, forum-ing and restricted blog-surfing. All this contributed to first-time-in-centuries no assignment-rushing on the night before deadline for me; three assignments done in one week including a research essay. I didn't know I could be so great... *self-admirance*

Update: Bah. I just busted the 800mb limit. Like I care. -_-

Thanks for the award. So you think my blog is an undiscovered blog. Ha ha, I agree it is. All my sites are undiscovered. But that is fine. I don't have my site for the hits I just do it for my enjoyment & to make friends like you. Hopefully I don't have to pass this award on. I don't think I know any blogs that aren't discovered, lol. We'll see. I will proudly display this award, Rilla.

I don't mean your blog is undiscovered. "Obviously if I've discovered the blog it's not an undiscovered blog." Therefore I don't know any undiscovered blogs. :P See I was given this award too.

Mm, very good choices. Leila and Seth's website is probably my favorite out of the five, but the others are very nice as well.

Ah, the internet bandwidth I've been reading about from other peoples' blogs. I'm pretty glad I live in the United States now, or else I would probably exceed my bandwidth limit.

Oooooh, this is a good idea! I'll bet there are tons of awesome sites nobody knows about because they don't advertise as much, or something :p

The award seems like a good idea - it reminds me of Blog Day a while back.

Good luck surviving without all the bandwidth you need!

That's sucky about the lack of bandwidth, but at least you're being exceptionally productive! See: cloud, silver lining!

Great list of sites. I'm only familiar with one of them. :D Sorry about your bandwidth. It's an obnoxious thing to worry about.

Yay, you posted this up haha :) And congrats to them.

I also am more productive with offline life without the internet, but then without the internet, I'd feel so, bored. And Rilla, you _are_ great :)

Wow, thanks. I don't know if I really deserve this, but still, thanks a lot. =)
I wish I could stop procastinating too. But to achieve that, I would have to stop browsing the web, reading, watching TV and doing everything else that makes me happy. Hm.

Whooo *admires too*. Yay for time management and some relaxation time?

That's a pretty interesting award, kind of like the Blog Day, but without any specific date to do it on :P Might steal it later on, lol.

The thing when I find new and interesting blogs is that I always forget to bookmark them, haha.

Aww! ^__^ What a nice way to start out the morning...merci beaucoup!

Back in the day, my parents used to only allow Internetting for half an hour every other night. I used to get so much done...

I really don't know what I would do if my internet was limited. Even though it would be good for me because then I'd get things done.

Heh, wow. o.0. Thanks so much Rilla.

I'm still somewhat nonplussed that anyone is bothering to read anything I've written, so this is a cauldron full of gravy for me.

Now I just need to find someone to pass it on to...

    *scared*

Well, it depends if my site is secret - from my relatives and friends, in a way making it more fun. And thanks for the award.

Congratulations on getting that award! I don't think your site is undiscovered, but maybe the award also says that you deserve more recognition? As in, you are undiscovered in relation to your greatness? lawl :P

Anyway, your choices were really nice too. And that sucks that your limit is 800mb. What kind of a ISP is that *dies*
