How I cope with uni

Actually, I'm not coping at all. Just looking at my schedule of essays, tests and exams for the coming two months make me want to faint. But, I'm finally making some progress shaking off the holiday mode.
Wait. Am I really though? I still haven't managed to get rid of my habit of falling asleep in classes; and it's worse when I fall asleep in a small tutorial class of no more than ten students. There has to be something wrong with Economics which makes me fall asleep in all Economics classes since 2006. No matter how hard I try to stay awake, I just end up falling asleep again and again.

Awake... awake... zzz... shit. Awake. And repeat. That's how it is in every Economics class.
Test tomorrow and I'm still confused in some places. But I have made effort to cram in the content! (Into my books at least. Not too sure about my brain.)

I'm glad I recorded my exam studying freak days from end of last year to remind myself of how I got through all that. But it's hard to feel so determined to study at this time of the year.
That's why I'm still procrastinating. Zooming in on handwriting is fun.

I agree!

It's really neat lol. -

lol... you take notes XD
maybe someday I'll show you what happens when i try to take notes
Oh and yeah, your writing is quite easy to read :3 (except for the n's XD) -

My handwriting in classes I zoomed out, always resembled cat scratches... or rather, cat's would have been insulted to call those their scratches.
I don't think I ever fell asleep, but I had a tendency to daydream through important stuff, which was not quite productive.
Neat handwriting, though I prefer things to be more spaced out
Good luck with your exams. -

Your handwriting is beautiful. I think you need to sleep. Economics is boring & I would have a hard time to stay awake.
-

Ditto about the handwriting. So nice!

-

You write notes =O I thought most ppl in university take notes on their laptops? @_@ Or is that a common misconception? LOL
-

Economics should be exciting!! Aaaand I like your handwriting

-

Lol thanks guys.
Cindy: Uhh I think it's a common misconception.
A lot of people do bring their laptops but most people (here at least) take notes on paper. My laptop's too heavy to carry around with me for 8 hours. x_x -

Aw I like your handwriting! It almost makes me forget that you fall asleep in class. It might work the same way for the professors

I used to fall asleep in sociology class last year. I mean, deep, deep sleep. I'm lucky the professor was really nice and never asked me to leave the room or anything. Sleep more at home, maybe that'll help! -

I'm going to be a total stationery nerd and ask what brand of pens you use.
So... yeah... what brand of pens do you use? -

Lmao.
Ink blue pen: Dr Grip ('tis gawdly)
Red pen: Hybrid
Ballpoint blue pen: Pilot -

Ryl-Ryl, your handwriting's full of sex. Makes mine look positively shameful. WOEFUL. Blah.
Pilot pens FTMFW. I love those things, they glide like nothing else (except an idiot on ice-skates). -

LOL! I fall asleep in almost every class lately
And my zzzz lines are longer, even possibly across a whole page
Your handwriting is lovely! My handwriting PMSes a lot
One second it looks as neat as ever, and then it's sooo crappy. I love Pilot pens
Mine are all pilot pens, and except a few Parkers, Pelican Fountain pens and Uni
I only can write neatly in inky pens, but then I like ballpoint ones better.
I'm going to take Econs next year (planned, but I have to see my school's schedule too)
My cousin teaches it at my school, and my sister says that its interesting. I don't know though. -

Man, I wish my handwriting was that neat. Well, it is neat at first but then I get tired and scribble something that resembles the handwriting of a five-year-old.
I've never actually fallen asleep on classes but zoning out is something that I did quite frequently when I was in school
And I'd definitely fall asleep on an Economics classes, because that sort of things have never interested me, at all :/ -

Woah, your notes are... woah! Lol. Mine are way messy... I have to take new notes off my notes, and write them in nice pens and colours to ensure that I make it neat and readable haha.
I always fall asleep in Economics class too! It's so weird. It must be the subject =O
I swear, class before and after, I'm always fine. Maybe a little tired sometimes... but every single Economics class, I walk in and start dozing. But the next period right after that, I'm fine. WEIRD HAHA. -

Well the "neat" notes there are my rewritten new notes off my lecture notes lol.
-

WOW! Your handwriting is so neat! That's impressive! I wish my university notes were that tidy! :O
-

har har it's me. haven't been here in quite a while!
ditto everyone else above - you have neat neat handwriting. On the other hand, I totally sympathize about the boredom of econ, as I spy some statistical formulas. Success, failure blah blah blah.
It's only natural you'd doze off >;p -

This is a really strange thing to say, but I was looking at your zoomed in picture and the first thing I thought was: I love pens with thick ink.
-

Dammit. The first time I read your final sentence I thought you said you love "penis" with thick... Wait what?
-

Ah, now that I'm in college, and only during this year, I seem to fall asleep in Chemistry all the time.. till my teacher kept calling my name. Sometimes she'd ask me questions, sometimes she'd just call my name, and somehow, I often shoot up and will feel suddenly very awake. Good luck with all your exams and assignments. I think not thinking about the workload or exams ahead helps in a way. Just breathe...
-

*HUGS* I cannot stay awake in economics, period. And I never do well in there either

-

Don't worry i never stay awake in any of my classes (includes organic chemistry, human physiology, economics, ethics (UGH)) but i still always manage an A. NEVER WORRY IF ANYTHING THE TEXTBOOK IS YOUR BEST FRIEND>>>>>
-

I love your handwriting.

I don't think I could ever fall asleep in class - I know people do it all the time, but it's just so hard for me to imagine because I *never* fall asleep in public places (except maybe airports and airplanes, if only because there is nothing else to do!).
