My Paradoxical Personality

Allow me to draw a tangent from my dislike for the Taiwanese "dark grey sky"... Actually, I don't completely dislike dark and grey things. In fact, black is one of my favourite colours, and I do prefer night more than day. However, I appreciate that my life is filled with various colours. Basically, I acknowledge that there are usually two sides to everything. Note: "everything" includes my personality.

Reality vs Dreams

That is not to say I have multiple personalities, but I can be a living paradox. I consider myself to be a "pragmatical dreamer", especially in my view towards love. I see love as an ideology, deified by unrealistic minds and romance novels but in reality, romance is a manipulation of the human mind. Contrastedly, I also strongly believe I will one day encounter the ideal love that will melt away any of my rational senses.

Clever Idiots Exist

People would say and results would show that I am reasonably bright, though I seem to get in my blonde "dopey" self quite frequently as well (even with black hair). I once caught myself walking straight into a glass door. Even worse, I took a step back and walked right into it again. Blank moments are a part of my daily life. While I was introducing myself as a first-year student in the Education section of the previous page, I first typed "first-year stupid". So I guess... stupidity and intelligence are not mutually exclusive after all.

A Hypocrite or What?

More? Well, due to my absolute laziness, my study room is a contemporary war zone and on a day without school and just chilling at home, I'd look like a total mess. (Photo? No thanks.) So what's the contradiction here? For example, I'd expect all shelves and cupboards in my sight to be closed completely tight (it really gets my sister on the nerves because she likes leaving her wardrobe doors open) and I do the best I can to avoid getting my hand stained. I eat pizza with a fork or chopsticks if I have access to one of those and I try my best to cut the meat off the bone (e.g. drumsticks) just so I don't have to pick it up with my hand. These are just some of my weird habits that others around me often cannot easily comprehend... I have never eaten unsliced-apples. Lazy? Not here. I'd rather take the extra mile to cut an apple into four pieces than bite into a whole apple.

Like an Ogre? Or an onion?

It's not that I stink, I have regular showers, I swear. But...

"Ogres have layers. Onions have layers."
- Shrek

In this "layers" aspect, Rilla matches ogres and onions. How? I layered my hair. Ok, no. So I might have a jolly happy girl layer on the outside when I'm actually feeling painful in the second layer and on the third layer, I'm just soulless and dead. If you don't understand, then... experience > words. Bah.

Aquarius: 21 January - 19 February

Am I weird? I like to refer to myself as "unique". It is all a part of being an Aquarian female.

Traits: Truth-seeker, honest, probing, popular, amiable, broad-minded, creative, changing, hesitant, eccentric and inefficient.

So let's try to understand this term of "eccentric":

eccentric adj. Departing from a recognized, conventional, or established norm or pattern. See synonyms at strange.

Well, I suppose that summarises up my personality quite adequately—strange.
