After-Thoughts
I found it really exciting throughout. It's impressive how J. K. Rowling managed to link such a long story together from the first to the seventh book and resolve all the mysteries by the end of everything.
I loved the twists and turns. Deaths were definitely sad because by the seventh book, I already felt more attached to the characters than most other stories. However, good stories aren't perfect. The flaws in the characters made the story seem more real.
With that said, even though the epilogue seemed too perfect to be true, contrary to popular distaste for the epilogue, I liked it. I've always liked the "happily after scene" after a good story. But even better, that penultimate line gives me the feeling that there may be story after the story.
The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.
What I didn't like about the book was that J. K. Rowling made it too obvious that she was writing for the screen it sounded pathetic here and there. But overall, the plot was good and a great ending to the Harry Potter series.
